So the backstory behind this map is that it was originally started as a speedbase map. That quickly turned into a            |
map where I ended up using it as a way to test various texture themes, and then that turned into an experiment to            |
see just how cohesive all of these texture themes could be when used together.                                               |

In the end I was quite surprised with how it turned out, and it ended up being more cohesive than I thought it               |
would end up being. I really wasn't expecting any of these to mix well outside of maybe the Speedbase, Rubicon 2             |
and Obtex sets, but again, it really did end up surprising me.                                                               |

To anyone else this might have been a normal day, but you have been called into the facility, which can only mean something  |
bad has happened, and sure enough, something bad did happen. About an hour prior, a dimensional rupture had occurred and     |
the facility was being assaulted by an unknown force. After repelling the unknown assailants, you were called in and after   |
arriving you were sent immediately to briefing.                                                                              |

The facility was heavily damaged after the attack, but the scientists were able to figure out where the attack had came      |
from. They were able to connect their slipgate to a connection point, and are sending you, their best fighter, into the      |
slipgate  with a single goal: Complete and total eradication of enemy forces. Clearly these attackers are highly             |
aggressive, and must be taken out before something potentially worse comes through and destroys the facility.                |

After reaching the connection point, you make a few observations. You are not sure where you are, but it is clear            |
that this dimension has not had a good time at all. The area you have landed in is dark and gloomy, the metal is rusted      |
and corroded, and the air smells like it might be slightly toxic. Outside of the broken electronics, it is eerily quiet.     |

The connection point you landed on is clearly a one-way teleport, but there appears to be another slipgate based             |
on the energy readings, but the reading is faint, almost like the slipgate is running low on power, or is potentially        |
damaged. Either way, it seems like that is going to be your ticket out of here.                                              |
